Jeff Hames
Leon Jefferson “Jeff” Hames Jr., 63, husband of Barbara Mahaffey Hames, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Cherokee Medical Center.
Born October 8, 1960 in Cowpens, SC., he was a son of the late Leon Jefferson Hames Sr. and Emma Jean Roberts Hames. He was a former Stocker with Food Lion and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Andrew Hames, twin sons, Nathan Hames and Jonathan Hames all of Chesnee; brothers, Rodney Hames (Wendy), Timothy Hames and a half-brother, Barry Dean Hames.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2024 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Revs. Cam Bagwell, Mike Wood, Dale Welch and David Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
