COEBURN, VIRGINIA – Jeff Milgrim, 56, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital in
Bristol, Tennessee.
He was born in
Aurora, Illinois, the son of the late Harold Junior Milgrim. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Edith Holbrook, and paternal grandparents, Ezra and Margie Milgrim. Jeff was of the Christian Faith, a dedicated church member, and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son, Kirklyn Patrick Milgrim of
Coeburn, Virginia; his mother, Doris Sutherland of
Dante, Virginia; three sisters, Connie Jackson and husband, Tommy of
Coeburn, Virginia, Sharon Hawkins and husband, Cliff of
Coeburn, Virginia, and Donna Cress and husband, Johnny of
Big Stone Gap, Virginia; one brother, Scott Sutherland and fiancée, Sarah of
Charlotte, North Carolina; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services for Jeff Milgrim will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel,
Castlewood, Virginia, with Rev. Darnell Keith and Rev. Greg Dingus officiating. Committal Services and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Temple Hill Memorial Park,
Castlewood, Virginia. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery, leaving at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Jackson, Cliff Hawkins, and Johnny Cress.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Castlewood Funeral Home,
Castlewood, Virginia. Flowers will be accepted, but donations can be made online in Jeff's memory to the Norton Cancer Center at www.balladhealth.org/foundation/donate-online.
