Jeff D. Stall, age 84, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 in the presence of his family at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

Jeff was born on March 14, 1941 in Missaukee County on the farm of his parents, Pearl and Margaret (Musselman) Stall. He attended Lake City school. Jeff met Joyce Bruin in Wyoming City, Michigan in 1959. The couple married on March 19, 1960. Together they had two children, Jeff (Connie) Stall and Kristine (Robert) Wagner. Jeff was a long-time resident of the Manton and Lake City areas.

Jeff worked the majority of his life as a logger. Every tree he saw was one he wanted to cut down. He was also a good mechanic and could fix almost anything with a motor. He was an avid hunter of deer and small game.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Margaret Stall; two brothers, Donald Stall and Darrell Stall; and his son-in-law, Robert Wagner Jr.

He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Joyce Stall; his two children, Jeff (Connie) Stall and Kristine Wagner; and his two sisters, Mary Brady and Dorothy (Ralph) Eling. He was a grandfather to Jill (Aaron) Duffy, Jodi (Clint) Bridson, Jeni (Corey) Fletcher, Alyson (Matt) Swinehart, Charlene (Tim) Self, Leon (Cassidy) Wagner, Lori (Jamie) Conner, Robert (Kelly) Wagner and Melissa Wagner. He also had many great-grandchildren.

Per Jeff's wishes, he will be cremated. No Celebration of Life is planned at this time.
