Jeff Stanton

Jeffrey "Jeff" Lynn Stanton, 68, of Florence, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023 with his loved ones by his side. He was born January 14, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Lyndell and Bettie Stanton. Jeff was a hard worker, and he took pride in what he did. He was honest and humble and proudly provided for his family. Jeff was a proud father and pop-pop, and his family knew he was their biggest fan. Jeff enjoyed everything from going to the bar to watch them sing karaoke, or just sitting at the house and making them laugh. When he was with his family, his heart was full. Jeff was also an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Southwestern Ohio Conservation Club, and he instilled his love for the outdoors into his children. His wife, Sandra Stanton had preceded him in death. Jeff is survived by his beloved children: Shane (Shannon) Stanton, Clint Stanton, Adam (Jessica) Stanton, Amber (Adam) McLain, and Autumn (Casey) Conner, his loving grandchildren: Bryce Cook, Tyler Thomas, Ashlee Stanton, Hunter Stanton, Andrew and Carter Stanton, Franklin and Isla McLain, and Ethan and Elliana Conner, his dear sister: Kim Stanton and his loving nephew and niece: Zach and Natalie Stoeppel. A visitation will be held for Jeff on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10am until 12pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A service will be held immediately following at 12pm at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery in Burlington, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice Foundation at 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017 or to the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana, at 982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217-1566.
