Jeff Todd

Dale Jeffrey "Jeff" Todd, born December 23, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on January 24, 2026.
From an early age, Jeff was a gifted artist with a curious and imaginative spirit. Art was not just something he practiced-it was how he understood the world and expressed himself within it.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that took him to England, where he formed lasting friendships and memories that shaped his worldview and creative life.
In 1988, Jeff became the father of his only son, Desmond. Fatherhood brought deep purpose and joy to his life and remained one of his greatest sources of pride.
Jeff continued his education at Otterbein College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and further developed his artistic talents. He later became the owner of a print shop in Westerville, serving the community while combining creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship.
Art and music were constants throughout Jeff's life, especially his love for the blues. In his retirement he began to combine both art and music in custom making cigar box guitars, his flagship piece in his collection known as Chatchkas by Jeff". His creativity seemed limitless, and his work reflected his intelligence, kindness, and quiet depth.
Jeff will be deeply missed. His artistic spirit and thoughtful nature live on through his photographs, his creations, strumming of guitar strings and the memories shared by those who loved him-a lasting reflection of a life creatively and meaningfully lived.

Preceded in death by, parents, James Todd and Judy Massie, brothers, Jimmy Todd andKevin Massie, sisters, Dawn Pierce and Tina Bolling. Survived by, son, Desmond Todd, close friend and mother of his son, Sherri Todd, sister, Kim (Pat) Fagan, brothers, Scott Massie, Richard Massie and Gregg Massie, step mother, Margaret Collins, special heartfelt thanks to his niece for her loving help in composing this obituary, Angela Runyon, numerous other family and friends.

Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 12-2 PM where service will follow at 2 PM.
