Jeff Walker

Jeff Walker, 51, of Azle, Texas, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2026, near his home. His unexpected passing leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Jeff was born on May 27, 1974, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his father, Nick Walker, and mother, Vicky Norman. He was a proud and active graduate of Granbury High School and went on to attend the University of Texas at Arlington. Jeff built a dedicated career in the material handling industry, working for many years at DFW International Airport and Houston Hobby Airport. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Honeywell.

Jeff is survived by his father, Nick Walker and wife Rhonda of Las Vegas, Nevada; his mother, Vicky Norman of Granbury, Texas; his brothers, Cody Walker and his longtime girlfriend Carly Hendricks of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Joshua Walker and wife LeighAnn of Granbury, Texas; and his sister, Rebekah Legan and husband James of Granbury, Texas. He is also survived by his grandfather, Billy Arms of Acton, Texas, along with numerous beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of cherished friends. Jeff's social family from Augies Sunset Grill and Eagle Mountain Lake held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Dodo Mitchell; grandparents, Ramsey Walker, Jo Walker, and Monte Arms; his stepfather, Rick Norman; stepmother Janie Walker and his niece, Cassi Walker.

Jeff was an avid boater who found great joy on the water, and he also loved golfing and spending time outdoors. More than anything, he was known for his vibrant spirit. Jeff had a presence that could light up any room-sweet, gregarious, witty, and endlessly kind. He had a rare gift for making people feel seen, valued, and welcome; truly, he never met a stranger.

His time with us was far too brief, but the legacy he leaves behind is one of warmth, humor, and genuine compassion. To know Jeff was to love him, and he will be deeply missed by all the lives he touched.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2026 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas beginning at 2:00 PM.
