Born Feb. 13, 1957, in Cleveland, Jeffery was a life-long Lake County resident.
Jeffery was a proud union member and worked for the City of Willoughby for 23 years. He loved his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, going downtown to the casino, gardening, cooking, family get-togethers, and standing up for what he believed was right.
He was the loving father of Wenona (nee Roth) (Roger) Tayfel, Adam (Mary) Alexander and Robin (nee Alexander) (Karl) Slovenski; cherished grandfather of Collin (Kennedy), Paige, Grayden, Ryder, Chloe and Silas; brother of Sue (Kenny) Locsei, Kenny Alexander, Linda (Dave) Wilding, and Judy Alexander; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nancy (nee Kotnik) Alexander; brother, James Alexander; and sister, Jeannie Alexander.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov.1, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 7 p.m.

Jeff we always shared a special bond between us. From the time we started to date in junior highschool till this very day . And you called me every year on my birthday for over 50 years. Never missed a year. Never! I loved you way back then and always will. I'm just glad to know my brother, Randy was there waiting for you. Now you two try and behave. I'll miss our times together.
