Jeffery Boyd Obituary
Jeffrey was a retired sergeant from the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, where he dedicated much of his life to serving and protecting the community. The lessons he learned throughout his service undoubtedly shaped him into the person he became.
He moved to Sonora, California, after retiring from the Sheriff's Office. It was there that he found his own version of serenity. He actively immersed himself in community service, becoming involved with the Tuolumne County Humane Society and FOAC (Friends of the Animal Community). It was within these organizations that Jeffrey discovered a new passion - advocating for the welfare of animals.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Anita and Donald Boyd. He leaves behind three daughters; Jennifer Meyer of Rockwall Texas, Janine Thomas of Morgan Hill California , and Julianna Reichard of Santa Barbara California, and 5 grandchildren.
Jeffrey was also a loving brother to Gregory Boyd of Houston, Texas
A private memorial service will be held to honor and remember Jeffrey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Tuolumne County Humane Society or FOAC.

Always known as S-30.
Jeff was an energetic guy. Always involved in various business ventures. I remember him having a skating Rental business in GG Park. As such, sold a size 14 pair to a spouse, who thought it was Great gift for my birthday.Well I don´t know how to skate. Hmmm??
