Jeffery Chen DMD

Jeffery Chen, 55, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Jeffery was born on June 25, 1970 in Montreal, Canada to Hua-Feng Joseph and Pi-Shia (Tung) Chen.
Jeffery completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and later earned his degree of Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University. He then completed his residency at St. Luke's Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He worked at Bright Now Dental for twenty-six years, where he enjoyed serving the Sandusky community and valued his colleagues, who felt more like family. Jeffery was a member of the Cleveland Museum of Art. In his spare time, he enjoyed running, music, the arts, cheering for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and being a proud "Swiftie." He was also an avid traveler and animal lover, but most of all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Jeffery is survived by his parents, sister, Jolie Chen; and his Bright Now Dental family.
Friends may call on Sunday, December 21st, 2025 to celebrate Jeffery's life from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
