Jeffery Wyatt Knapp January 2, 1947 - August 5, 2025 Jeffery Wyatt Knapp, age 78, of Edina, MN, passed away from cardiac arrest at home on August 5, 2025. Born January 2, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick K. Knapp and Eugenia (Giles) Knapp. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Constance (Christenson) Knapp; two sons, Jordan and Corey Knapp; brother Rick (Teri) Knapp; and nephew and niece, Garrett and Rachel Knapp. A proud graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, Jeff went on to earn his law degree from Georgetown University Law School. He began his legal career by founding a law firm alongside friends from Georgetown, building a successful practice grounded in integrity and dedication. Later in life, Jeff transitioned to real estate, where his passion for helping others find their dream homes brought him deep fulfillment. Jeff loved life on the water and spent many happy years sailing the Chesapeake Bay with his family and friends on his beloved Tartan 30, Elsewhere. He regularly played bridge and chess, and spent time cooking at home and testing new recipes as a hobby. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina, MN, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 1 pm, with a reception following.
