Jeffery Carl McClenaghan, age 61, of Dover passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital at Akron after a period of declining health.
Born on December 3, 1962, he was a son of the late Daniel and Barbara (Scanlan) McClenaghan.
He was the owner and operator of J&T Auto Body in Strasburg for over 32 years. He was gifted in car restoration and enjoyed working hard throughout his life. Jeff was a Lifetime Member of the Pioneer Power Association. Through the years he owned, operated, and restored many steam engines.
He was known for his ferocious personality and fierce love for his family. On October 3, 1992, he married the former Tana Kimble. Together they have enjoyed 32 years of marriage. He is survived by his wife, Tana; children, Jennifer (boyfriend, Jered Masters) McClenaghan, and Christopher McClenaghan; sister, Nancy McCartney; nephew, Michael McCartney; great niece, Trynity Jordan; brother-in-law, Troy Kimble; and sister-in-law, Savannah Kimble.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; and step-father, Chet Brumbaugh.
In keeping with Jeff’s wishes cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. No services are planned at this time.
