I graduated with Jeff from Northland High School in 1974. Jeff was a leader, kind, intelligent and caring! He was also very athletic and obviously handsome.

Even in high school, Jeff knew what he wanted in his future. Sadly to us in the girl side, his heart already belonged to a student from DeSales named Marita I. None of us ever had a chance!!!

It it with joy that I read about how you, Marita truly were always the love of his life! My prayers and condolences abound to all you, the family of Jeff Braden!!! Treasure your memories and the days ever to be.

Much love,
Karen (Taylor) Szabo,
Northland High School Class of 1974

(Married to Mickey Szabo from DeSales class of 1973 for close to 49 years)

Although we lived miles apart and saw each other rarely, I will always remember his great smile and how he called soda, pop. As his cousin from PA we called soda, soda so as kids we thought this was hysterical! I was not an athlete but with encouragement from Uncle Jack and Jeff they taught me to water ski. What great men they both were and how greatly they will be missed.

The nicest, most handsome cousin in the world..of course we got him grounded when we came to visit in the summer..made him toilet paper neighbors house.

Deepest sympathy to Marita, Josh, Talia, Jenna and the entire Brader family on the loss of Jeff. He was taken way too soon. Death takes a body but never a relationship. Thinking of you with love and prayers. Jill McNaughton
