Jeffrey Alan Ellinger

Jeffrey Alan Ellinger age 51 of Fort Myers Florida passed away unexpectedly in his home September 30, 2023. He was born in Beech Grove Indiana September 29, 1972, son of Bonnie K. Jamieson Ellinger and the late Robert Ellinger.
Jeff was a graduate of Greenwood High School and attended IUPUI. He moved to Ft. Myers in 2010 and established Lee Air-Air Comfort Express. He was self-taught in the A/C business and became a successful, self-made businessman. He put his customers first and his work was thorough. Jeff was a great cook and enjoyed cooking on the grill for his family and friends.
Jeff was bigger than life, fun loving and funny. He was an attentive father, seldom missing events his boys were in involved in. He enjoyed boating and riding 4-wheelers with his boys. Jeff was the oldest of three siblings and was a huge University of Michigan fan.
Surviving are: his mother Bonnie of Whiteland, IN, two daughters; Alexis (Chris) Summers of Columbus, IN and Bailey Ellinger of Greenwood. Son; Jeremy Ellinger of San Antonio, TX. His significant other Jessica Helderle with whom he has five sons; JJ, Cash, Romeo, Trigger and Stryker Ellinger all of Ft. Myers. Two brothers; Dustin Ellinger of Whiteland and Rob Ellinger of Fairland, IN. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Ellinger.
