Jeffrey A. Estep, age 60 of Gillett, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Jeff was born on February 20, 1965 to the late Henry and Dorothy (Crouse) Estep. He attended Oconto Falls High School and later met the love of his love, Nancy Pethke. They were inseparable since 1988 and later made things official in 1999. Jeff worked hard his whole life as a laborer, most recently at Letourneau Plastics in Oconto. He enjoyed working there as he was able to work with his son. Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially his son and grandchildren. He enjoyed all the time he had with Brandon including attending concerts and sports games. Jeff would take the grandchildren on 4-wheeler rides and swimming and enjoyed spoiling them. Time spent with his brother-in-law, Otto Pethke, was also precious to him. They enjoyed each other's company whenever they could, often watching sports and traveling to the lake. Jeff will always be remembered for his barbecue skills and delicious rice krispie treats, macaroni and cheese, and omelets. He enjoyed having a good time, hanging out with friends, and spending time outside.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Brandon (Patricia Jesse) Estep; 3 grandchildren, Avery Estep, Jordyn Jesse, and Bodhi Moore; siblings, Steve Estep, John (Sandra) Estep, Patrick Estep, Ann (Brent) Galleske; brother-in-law, Bruce Galleske. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, David Estep, Dawn Estep, and Julie Galleske.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring (116 S. Krueger Street) from 9 am until the funeral service at 10:30 am with Pastor Michael Paholke officiating. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
