Evers Family,
I just found out about Jeff. I lived next door to your parents and Jeff for many years. I loved having Jeff as my neighbor and friend. He was a great man and always willing to help and act as a sounding board. A life gone too soon. Rest In Peace.

I've only knew Jeff for a short time he was a such a remarkable person and it was a pleasure getting to know him. Jeff informed me that his name stood for "God Grace" God has certainly gained an angel He will certainly be missed I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet him. Rest in Peace Jeffrey

Jeff lived next door to my Granny Mooney. He was very good to her, shoveled her snow, changed light bulbs, etc. and was a real friend to her-- as were the entire Evers family. Jeff was in my class at Ignatius, until he transferred to Latin. A true gentleman.

Jeff was my ROTC student recruiter at Kent State University. He had the gift for gab as he managed to fill my ROTC classes for three years. He also showed me the Mogadore Reservoir and all the bass that could be landed by fishing off the "Stay Off" levee. We used my Dad's VW camper to attack the small mouth bass at Kelly Island. Great memories and good times. You always called me Captain Urban even though I retired as a Colonel. So RIP and find those good fishing lakes in heaven. Mark Urban

Jeff the Reff, so many fun volleyball memories with him. Such a sweet and funny guy, gone too soon.

Jeff the Reff encouraged me to walk onto a sand volleyball court filled with strangers and with his help learned to love them like family. He was full of crazy fun facts and 'dad jokes'. And I will miss him.

Dear Evers Family, I'm so sorry to hear about Jeff. I graduated college with Jeff. Patti Cardone and I lived across the courtyard from him at Kent and had Industrial Design classes with Jeff. When we moved to an apartment junior year, Jeff and his friends moved to the same complex. We had so much fun those four years and Jeff was a big part of our lives. Jeff organized a co-ed softball team and taught me how to slow pitch because I couldn't play any other position. I thought I was going to lose my teeth. Years later he came camping with my husband and two kids on Kelly's island and showed us all around the island. I will miss him as I'm sure everyone that knows him will also. Pam Ritchie Brecht
