Jeffrey W. Fromhart

Jeffrey W. Fromhart, age 75 of Moundsville, WV peacefully passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV,
He was born January 4, 1949 in Parkersburg, WV the son of the late Frederick and Betty Black Fromhart and Howard Wayne McCracken.
He was retired from a lifelong career at the WV Department of Corrections in Moundsville and was a Catholic by faith.
Jeff graduated from Bishop Donahue High School in 1967 and West Liberty State College in 1971.
He loved history, WVU and Steelers football and he loved his younger days of flying airplanes and earned his private pilot license in his early 20's.
Jeff enjoyed his family camp on Fish Crick and was very proud of his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garl and Hazel McCracken; his mother and father in law, I.B. and Hilda Blake; two brothers, Jon "David" Fromhart and Gregory "Shad" Fromhart; brothers in law, Bob Blake, Dick Blake, and Gary (Wanda) Blake.
Survivors include his wife Daunetta Blake Fromhart; a son, Todd (Bonnie) Fromhart; a daughter, Summer (Harry) Miller; grandchildren, Dylan, Connor, Chase, Riley (Emily), and Regan; a brother, Brad (Denise) Fromhart; sisters in law, Joyce Fromhart-Harrigan (John); Barbara (Ronnie) Mason, Becky Blake, and Judy Blake; and nieces and nephews.
At Jeff's request services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
