Jeffrey "Jeff" W. Fromme, 58, of Bethalto, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, surrounded by family.
He was born on April 16, 1966, in Santa Ana, CA, the son of Gerald "Jerry" and Merrill A. (Galbreath) Fromme of Wood River. They survive. Jeff married Ann L. Corbitt on March 19, 1988 at First Baptist Church of Bethalto. She also survives.
Jeff was an IT Project Manager for Accenture. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bethalto as well as a deacon there, Bethalto Spirit Orchestra, Metro-Tri Club, and participated in Pedal the Cause. Jeff was also a member of SIUE Concert Chorale. He loved serving people, helping anyone in need, and following and serving Christ. He enjoyed running, biking, playing the trumpet, music, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved his dogs, especially Hercules. Most of all, Jeff enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Along with his parents, Jerry and Merrill, and his wife, Ann, Jeff is survived by his three children, Hillary (Kevon) Moradi of Sedalia, MO, Mark (Lyndsey) Fromme of Moscow Mills, MO, and Jake (Alexis) Fromme of Edwardsville; a sister, Gina Fromme of St. Louis, MO; his mother-in-law, LaVerna Corbitt of Bethalto; six grandchildren, Isabella, Kylo, Haddon, James, Rhett, and Rosemary, and a seventh grandchild on the way, Baby Moradi.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jay Corbitt; and two infant grandchildren, Geneva and Carina.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 2 to 5:30 pm, with the funeal service following at 6 pm, at First Baptist Church of Bethalto. Pastor Josh Crisp, Pastor Jordan Evans, Pastor Justin Falloon, and Pastor Tim Drury will officiate. Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is assisting the family with final arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to Pedal the Cause and/or December 5th Fund.
