He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Hightower; sister, Tonya Buchanan; grandparents, Charlie Jones, and Hazel and Dixie Shiflet.
He is survived by his daughters, Carrie, and Madison Goins; father, Jeff Jones; sisters, Casey Jones, and Crystal Carter; grandmother, Thelma Jones; along with several other family members and friends.
A memorial service is being planned by the family at a later date.

I miss u Jeffrey u were my best friend. Im sorry.i love you. I hope ur at peace. We r lost without you. Everything is weird without u here. If I knew that that was ur last time I seen u. I just want to let you know that you are my bestest friend and your family is my family I can't believe that you're going it just doesn't seem real not you of all people. You were one of a kind you never met a stranger you always were more than willing to help anybody that you could and if they were looking after to be a part of your life they were lucky you will be so missed love you buddy
