Jeffrey Francis Hoye

Jeffrey Francis Hoye, 67, of South Deerfield, passed away at home Sunday August 18, 2024 after a long illness. He was born in Northampton on September 30, 1956 to the late John H. and Eleanor M. (McCarthy) Hoye.
He was educated in Northampton schools and graduated from Northampton High School, class of 1974. Jeffrey was a mechanic by trade and over the years honed his art as an upholsterer, specializing in the restoration of boat and classic car interiors. Jeffrey owned and operated his own custom upholstering business called Jeff's Trim Shop. Jeffrey was previously employed by The Hotel Northampton, Buick, Coca Cola, and Mitchell Concrete in Amherst.
Jeffrey was passionate about cars since his early teens and owned and restored many classic cars over his lifetime. Jeffrey found joy in cooking and baking, which stemmed from his early years in training at The Hotel Northampton. He also loved music, spending time with family, friends, and traveling with his nephews.
Jeffrey is survived by his son Curtis J. Hoye and his wife Tasha, and grandchildren Austin and Alanna of Southampton, his brother, Stephen J. Hoye and his wife Suzette of Williamsburg, his sisters, Terrilyn A. McCarthy of Amherst, Lisa M. Smith and her husband Mark of Johns Island, SC, and Colleen Hoye Senecal of Amherst. He leaves nieces and nephews Shannon Braack and her wife Beverly, Sean Hoye, Nicholas Smith, Ryan Mitchell, Brittney Smith, Jacob Mitchell and Trevor Senecal.
His burial will be Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 10 AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Northampton. DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME OF NORTHAMPTON, has been entrusted with his services.
