Oh my gosh Pastor Jeff, I'm so sorry to hear that he passed but very happy that he's with Jesus now and out of pain .

We accepted JESUS as our LORD and SAVIOR in 1980 at Calvary Chapel, Downey. I was a Catholic Atheist at the time. Loved Jeff Johnson as our first Pastor as a born-again Christians. Our whole house was saved (myself, wife and 2 daughters). The worship ministry was outstanding and sang the most beautiful Maranatha songs. Jeff is with Chuck Smith now. Must have been a great reunion. GOD bless those that were left behind. Jeff's preaching on End-Times and the beautiful music brought me in and gave me a foundation of a lifetime.

Hello & Merry Christmas to the Johnson family- I am ashamed to say that I did not hear of Pastor Jeff's passing until very recently- I listen to him EVERY day on my local radio station! I am so very sorry for your loss & pray that the knowledge his is "present with the Lord" brings you peace & comfort.. All I pretty much listen to is Calvary Chapel related- radio sermons & videos as well. I wanted to write to all of the pastors from whom I have learned so much from over the last 3 years- as Pastor Jeff is gone please know what an effect he had on an older, lost now-Christian in Myrtle Beach South Carolina- his wisdom & delivery of it was very unique & effective. You are joined in your suffering by countless people I am certain-May God bring you peace & joy knowing he is among the many waiting for the rapture & that we shall always be with The Lord-

We went to his church for years- he was a great teacher- best teaching I ever had. RIP Pastor Jeff!!!

I remember him as a man of great faith and would defend the word of god and loved god and showed it and loved people and helped meany I´ll see him again

I am forever grateful for his service as I dedicated my life to the Lord in the early eighties because of his message. Both of my boys were baptized at Pirates Cove beach on their own accord. Peace and eternal love Pastor Jeff Johnson.

Pastor Jeff ran the good race and is reaping his eternal reward. May God bless the family and bring them comfort and peace in their time of trial.

Dear Johnson Family-I started listening to Jeff when I found KWAVE in May 2021. How I appreciated his preaching and how I am missing it.
I was unaware that he had passed in February 2024, my deepest sympathy for the emptiness and my greatest rejoicing in the promise we have knowing Jeff is with our Saviour.

I rededicated my life to the Lord in 1979 when I was 19. It was a Easter Sunrise service. Through Calvery I met so many beautiful Brothers and Sisters. I will alway hold a special place in my heart for Paster Jeff Johnson. God bless. RIP

Jeff was like a friend to me. He made the word of God relatable to my everyday life. My friends and I would discuss his teaching long after the Sunday services. He will be missed. Virginia Rodriguez

We attended CCD for 3-1/2 years,In March 2010, I re-dedicated my life to Christ, with Richard following soon after, we also went on a tour to Israel with CCD with Pastor Jeff teaching, Pastor Jeff baptized my husband Richard in Israel. A memory that will always be with us. Pastor Jeff´s last breathe here on earth was his first in the presence of Almighty God.

In 1982 it was his ministry that brought me back to Jesus. Although I moved away, he has always been my pastor and shepherd. My favorite saying was 'taking the ice tea plunge "
