Jeffrey P. Knowlton

Jeffrey (Jeff) Paul Knowlton, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. Jeffrey was born July 4, 1946 in Lincoln, Maine to Frances McCloskey and Byron Knowlton. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alan R. Knowlton. He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Knowlton; sons, Rev. John B. Knowlton (Tricia), and Dr. Christopher M. Knowlton (Brooke); grandchildren, David Jeffrey Knowlton, and Jude Alexander Knowlton; brothers, Stuart J. Knowlton (Marian), Byron A. Knowlton II (Cindy), and Maj. Patrick J. Knowlton (Maria); as well as numerous cousins, and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2019, at Porter Loring Mortuary North. SERVICE WEDNESDAY, JULY 17, 2019 11:00 AM SHEARER HILLS BAPTIST CHURCH Rev. Charlie Simons will officiate. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Pallbearers (Honorary Pallbearers) will be Rev. John Knowlton, Dr. Christopher Knowlton, David Jeffrey Knowlton, Jude Alexander Knowlton, Stuart J. Knowlton, Byron A. Knowlton II (Honorary), Maj. Patrick J. Knowlton, Bill Eichholtz, David Seay, Barry Bridges, and Mark Van Cleave.
