Jeffrey D. "Jeff" Koon

Jeffrey D. Koon "Jeff" passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 57. Jeff is survived by his wife of 33 years, Amy; daughters, Grace and Taylor; and mother, Carolyn Koon.

Jeff worked in technical sales for over 25 years, owning his own business, selling both infrared and high-speed cameras, and more recently working directly for Teledyne FLIR.

Jeff will be most remembered as a loving husband and father who prioritized his family life above all else. He spent his free time at the lake with family and friends, making memories and enjoying time on the water. Jeff and his wife, Amy, shared a love of the outdoors, often spending time together at Percy Warner Park and the Deerwood Arboretum. Jeff was best known for his sense of humor and love of comedy. He had a quick wit and an ability to bring laughter into any conversation. He was a fun-loving, caring, Christian man that touched the hearts of anyone who knew him.

To celebrate his life, a visitation will be held on Monday, February 9th, 2026, at Brentwood United Methodist Church, 309 Franklin Road, Brentwood, TN, at 11am followed by a service from 12pm-1pm. A private burial with his family will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brentwood United Methodist Church. Flowers are welcome, and those wishing to honor Jeff in another way may contribute toward a memorial bench at Deerwood Arboretum.
