Jeffrey Lacey Obituary
North Augusta, SC.......Jeffery Thomas Lacey was a Loving father, brother, son, and friend. He entered into rest November 6th, 2024 at the age of 66.
A lifelong resident of North Augusta, Jeff was born to the late James Dozier Lacey and Belva Thomas Lacey on April 17, 1958. After attending North Augusta High School, he attended the University of South Carolina, then returned home to North Augusta to begin a lifelong career in real estate and development.
Jeff was an avid sportsman. He was a lifelong bird hunter alongside his favorite dogs Sam, Knot, and newest addition Lucy Leigh Lacey. Many weekends were spent at Fripp Island fishing, crabbing, and shrimping.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Dozier Lacey. Left to treasure Jeff's memory are his children: Hampton Dozier Lacey and Leigh Thomas Lacey; his ex-wife and best friend of 52 years, Nancy Leigh McNair Lacey; his mother, Belva Thomas Lacey; his siblings, Laurie Lacey Harden, Linda Lacey Jones, and Timothy Dozier Lacey (Karen); and his many friends.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Pineview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs Lacey, Laurie, Linda and Tim, I was so sad to hear about Jeff. Many of my younger years were spent hanging out with your family and those will always be special memories. Cutting grass, bailing hay, horse back riding, dinners and the list continues will always be remembered. May the Lord wrap his arms around each of you during this difficult time. Steve Kenrick
