Jeffrey Means Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 22, 2025.
Jeffrey Timothy "Jeff" Means, 58, passed away at his home in Millington, TN, on August 17, 2025. He is survived by his sons, Hunter Means (Lindsey) and Brandon Means (Grace). Jeff was born on March 3, 1967, in Memphis, TN, to Audrey Diane "Dee" Shepherd Waddell Means and Samuel Richard "Ricky" Waddell. He graduated from Trezevant High School in Memphis and worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. Jeff enjoyed NASCAR racing and loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Diane Waddell-Means and Ricky Waddell; his stepfather, Billy Kyle Means; and his sister, Rhonda Means Webster. He is also survived by his brother, Joey C. Waddell-Means. Jeff will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his humor, and his deep love for family. He found peace in the outdoors and joy in simple moments, and his memory will live on through the stories shared by those who loved him. Per Jeff's wishes, no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends honor Jeff in their own way-whether by sharing a favorite memory, spending time outdoors, or supporting a charity of their choice.
