Jeffrey Ostermeyer Obituary
Jeff is otherwise known as Oscar by many. Jeff loved smoking food in his smoker. He was best known for his smoked Macaroni and Cheese. Growing up he loved to go fishing in the local ponds. Most did not know but he was an artist. He would draw sketches in his drawling pad. Jeff loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He always made their Christmas a little extra special. Jeff also enjoyed making Tik-Tok videos and creating web pages. Jeff was a big fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Belva Ostermeyer. He is survived by his siblings, Bruce (Lisa) Ostermeyer, Robin (Tom) Smith and Debbie Lambert; niece, Amber Merriman; nephews, Tommy (Brittany) Smith, Tyler Smith, Brock Berkely, Chad Insley and Grant (Sadie) Ostermeyer. There are also many great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is planned on January 18, 2026. The celebration of life will be held at the Johnstown Monroe Township Hall in Johnstown, Ohio. A time has not been determined at this time.
