My sincerest condolences to the Ropp family. Such a tough loss. I only have fun memories of Jeff. We had a great crew in high school and beyond, always hanging out, playing pick games, golfing, poker nights, and on and on. He just lifted everyone up and kept us all in touch with the little kid in all of us. Great guy, great laugh, tremendous athlete and a great friend to so many. Rest easy my brother.

The Ropp Family,

Shocked and sorry to have heard of the passing of Jeff. We were childhood friends for many years. So sorry for your loss Patty, Terry, and Tim. It was so much fun hanging out at your house back in the good old days. We would play games all the time. Helper tag, 4 squares, the forts we had in the crawl space, and remember Tim the tag game "monkeys" the numerous sleep overs we had, I just remember laughing with you guys. I didn't realize how lucky we were to have grown up in the 1970s on Kinston Cir. until I reflect back on it now. Jeff was a good friend to me, you all were. I remember admiring how smart he was at Pine Element School. Jeff was definitely a good athlete especially in soccer, basket ball, base ball and later in golf.

I believe God was with him at the time of his passing and he is now united with Mike and Scott along with Mom and Dad.

With heartfelt condolences,

Scott Mitzel.
