Jeffrey Ross

Mr. Jeffrey Ross, 58, was born in Cumberland County, North Carolina, on August 14, 1967, and departed this life on March 12, 2026. He was the son of Mary Jacobs and the late Samuel Calvin Ross.

Jeffrey loved spending his time fishing or cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels, and he loved a ribeye steak off a charcoal grill almost as much as he loved being a new grandpa. He was quick to crack a joke and was always the life of the party-lighting up any room he walked into.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Joe Earl Locklear, and his sister, Angela Marie Ross.

He leaves to cherish his memory his only daughter, Shannon Ross-Lever (Joshua), and his only grandchild, Eva Lever, of Sanford; his mother, Mary Jacobs of Red Springs; one sister, Mary Denise Ross of Red Springs; his best friend since second grade, Rickie Grooms (Tina) of Graham; along with a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and dearly loved family and friends.

We thank God for the life he lived and the love he shared. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
