Jeffrey Owen Standfield, 55 of Plainfield, New Jersey known as "Moe," passed away
peacefully on January 8, 2026. Jeffrey was a man of strong will, deep conviction, and
unwavering determination. He lived his life firmly rooted in his truth, never afraid to challenge
the status quo or speak honestly about what he believed.
Moe valued authenticity above all else. He was direct, principled, and persistent-meeting life's
challenges head-on with courage and tenacity. While his journey was not without struggle, he
remained steadfast in who he was, choosing integrity over comfort and truth over approval.
One of the most profound reflections of Jeffrey's character was his devotion to his mother during
the final years of her life. Serving selflessly as her caregiver, he provided constant care, patience,
and love. This season of service revealed the depth of his heart and his understanding that love is
best shown through action and sacrifice.
Jeffrey is survived by his father, John A. Standfield; his sister, Cynthia Milton; and his
brothers, John D. Standfield and Keith A. Standfield. He leaves behind a legacy of strength,
honesty, and loyalty to family-one that will continue to live on through those who knew and
loved him.
We take comfort in knowing that Jeffrey now rests in God's eternal peace, free from pain and
earthly burdens. Though he will be deeply missed, his presence, his convictions, and his devotion
will never be forgotten.
