Jeffrey Thomas Sylvester

I was a colleague with Jeff (Middle School Teacher,
Counselor and Assistant Wrestling Coach). We served together on the Negotiation Team back in the days when we negotiating with a Professional Attorney). He was fun, outgoing, professional,
and related well to his students. My deepest sympathy to Susan and his family.

Sly was one of my favorite teachers at Delano High School. I remember taking one of his Accounting classes with my boyfriend. I allowed my boyfriend to copy my homework. Sly (of course) realized this immediately after asking a few questions and then proceeded to give me a "D" while giving my boyfriend an "A". I was angry and felt this was unfair, but Sly said "You got a D for allowing him to copy your paper. He got an "A" for being smart enough to do it". He was one of a kind. He made the world a better place for so many of us. Thanks again, Sly.

What a wonderful man! We loved him like a brother. He was such a man of love and integrity. Jeff was a wonderful friend to all. My deepest sympathies to Sue and children/grandchildren. Sincerely Bea Guntzel
