April 16, 1966 - July 6, 2025
Jeffrey Myles Thacker, 59, of Amherst passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. The husband of Barbara Anne Thacker for 32 years.
Jeffrey was born in Virginia on Saturday, April 16, 1966 to the late, Shelley Myles Thacker and Lena Mae Strickler.
Jeffrey enjoyed being outside doing lawn work and working on cars.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Lena Mae Thacker; also leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Barbara Anne Thacker; and a daughter, Dianna Moorman.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Thacker.
A memorial service will be held at a later.

Jeff was a pretty good guy, we lived across the street from one another. Went to school together, but as we grew older we drifted apart. I´m so sorry to hear of his passing. My Deepest Heartfelt condolences and Sympathy to his wife and Family, So Sorry for Y´all´s Loss. Prayers
