I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. My first experience with Jeff was when I was a 10th grader going to the weight room for summer lifting and Jeff had graduated that spring. He set off a smoke bomb in the weight room and just laughed himself to tears about it.
I got to talk to Jeff multiples times through the years as I later coached football at Poudre. My oldest brother knew him as well because he too was a pilot at United Airlines. Jeff touched many lives and we are all better off because we knew him.

So sorry to hear of this. Growing up in Fort Collins, Jeff was my best friend. He will be missed.

This is a shock to all. Kathy has kept me informed. I have informed Chris and Becky. May God and friends give you comfort during this untimely loss.

It was my honor to get to know Jeff during the years I got to coach Jack in middle school. He was an outstanding father, husband, pilot, community member, and friend. I admired the way he went about everything in life. When it came time for my wife and I to start having kids of our own, we turned to Jeff and Carol for advice. They provided us with wisdom and we reflect on their words to this day.

Jack, if you ever read this, I want you to know how proud your dad was of you. After you went away to college, he continued to send me messages and videos of your performances. Nothing will ever replace this loss, but I can tell you that no dad has ever been more proud of his son than Jeff was of you Jack.
