Jeffrey Weicht Obituary
MOUNT WOLF – Jeffrey A. Weicht, 67, of Mount Wolf, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Wellspan York Hospital, York, PA. He was the husband of Sheila (Knaub) Weicht whom he married 17 years ago.
Jeffrey was born August 27, 1958, in Harrisburg, PA and was the son of the late Robert and Thersa (Morrison) Weicht.
He graduated in 1977 from Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill, PA. He was employed by Overnight Trucking and later UPS Freight. Following his retirement, he worked part-time at SAM's Club in York, PA. Jeffrey enjoyed horse racing, football, hosting Kentucky Derby and Preakness parties, and his neighbors enjoyed seeing and talking with Jeff on his daily walks with his dog Rota.
In addition to his wife, Jeffrey is survived by his son, Robert Weicht and his wife Kathryn of Camp Hill, his stepson Kyle Hess of Dallastown, PA; his daughter, Megan Bates and her husband Michael of Lewisberry, PA; two step-grandchildren, Maxwell Hess and Peyton Kelley, and his brothers, Todd Weicht and his wife Jane, and Timothy Weicht and his wife Pamela.
His memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA. His visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. His burial will be private. Officiating at his service will be Pastor David Schreffler.
