Jeffrey Hayes Whitten, born on October 21, 1978 in Selmer, TN, passed away on November 20, 2023 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 45 Years, 30 Days. He was the cherished son of Lisa Kim Knight Whitten and the late William Jeffrey Whitten.
Jeffrey graduated from McNairy Central High School, class of 1996. He worked in restaurant management for many years.
His greatest joy in life came from spending time with his beloved children and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first grandchild.
Jeffrey is survived by his children: Logan Hayes Whitten and wife Emily of Blue Mountain, MS, Makayla Sheree Whitten of Tupelo, MS, Ryleigh Nicole Whitten of Selmer, TN; mother, Lisa Whitten of Selmer, TN; brother, Michael Shane Whitten and wife Heather of Selmer, TN; Fiancée, Kyra Brunning of Selmer, TN; two nieces, Jordan Isbell of Rienzi, MS, Kimberly Whitten of Selmer, TN; nephew, Michael Brooks Whitten of Selmer, TN; uncles, Anthony Knight and wife Tammy, Tim Knight and wife Tammy all of Selmer, TN; aunt, Drucilla Arnold of Savannah, TN; and many cousins.
In addition to his father, Mr. Whitten was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Lucille Woods; great grandparents, Alton and Mazell Riley; grandparents; Eugene and Madine Knight, Frank and Loretta Whitten; aunt, LeAnn Knight; uncle, Eugene Whitten; cousin Kirsten Knight.
