Jeffrey Elliott Wilburn "Jeff," born on January 22nd, 1955, passed away on January 7th, 2025 at Suncoast Hospice at St. Joseph Main Hospital. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, he was raised in Marietta Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Wilburn and Helen Cromartie. Jeff is survived by his wife Martha Guzman, brother Joe Wilburn, son Sam Wilburn, grandson Jalen Wilburn, and stepson Jean-Michel Robiou.
Jeff retired to Wimauma, Florida in 2016 after owning a successful business as a Manufacturing Representative for Aerospace suppliers. Prior to this he was employed by Lockheed Martin in Georgia. Jeff graduated from Marietta High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and MBA from Georgia State University.
Jeff was an avid and skilled athlete. He held a life-long passion for golf. He was a member of Pine Tree Golf Club in Kennesaw, Georgia before becoming a member of Caloosa Golf Club in Sun City, Florida. He played and competed in tennis, paddleball, and bocce ball. In his spare time, Jeff was a dedicated and knowledgeable gardener and nature lover. He will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness. A compassionate and generous man, we feel the loss of such a vibrant and charming personality.
A Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 10th, 2025, 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Sun City Funeral Home, with a Funeral Service from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM, followed by a Reception from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Jeff.
