Jency was our next door neighbor and friend. Larry and I visited her often when we stayed a few weeks at our St. Martinville house. We reside in Marietta, GA. We looked forward to sit with her in her living room and converse about our families. She was a treasure trove of advice and compassion. I loved to listen to stories about her wonderful life in Mamou raising her children.
