Jennie M. D'Angelo, 90, of Jackson Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Jennie maintained her joy, kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation of beauty, and love of family and friends, and expressed gratitude for her long life full of wonderful experiences. Jennie's life can be summed up with five words: Family, Friends, Food, Flowers, and Fun. Throughout her nearly 91 years with us, she enjoyed an abundance of each.

Jennie was born to the late Joseph and Concetta Armenia (Belluardo) in Brooklyn, New York, on December 11, 1934. She lived in downtown Brooklyn before moving to Marine Park, Brooklyn, where she lived for over 50 years. Jennie was a loving wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother who simply cherished her grandchildren. Her family best describes her as a woman who enjoyed adventures and made friends everywhere she went. Jennie was vivacious and spunky, and extended herself, her home, and her heart to everyone.

Jennie was an avid reader who enjoyed forensics, crime novels, and crosswords. Although her yearbook said she was "looking forward to an apron, cooking meals, and having children," she went on to also take pleasure in her work in the PTA, advocating for educational change, and as an executive assistant in the insurance and medical fields until she retired. Jennie loved traveling, adventures, dancing, ceramics, playing cards and Mahjong, knitting, sewing, crocheting, bowling, and eating out. She enjoyed attending church services and was a faithful Mets fan. Most of all, Jennie loved drinking coffee, eating cookies, preparing her favorite recipes, and making memories with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Jennie is predeceased by her parents, and loving husband and soulmate, Salvatore "Charlie" D'Angelo.

Jennie is survived by her son, Sal D'Angelo, and his wife Mariann; her daughters, Lisa D'Angelo and Donna D'Angelo-Simon; her brother, Peter Armenia, and his spouse Carolyn; her sister, Angie Trimboli, and her spouse Frank; and five loving grandchildren, Frankie, Kayla, Valerie, Michael, and Mackenzie.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funeral DeBow Chapel, 150 W. Veterans Highway, Jackson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at St. Monica RC Church, 679 W Veterans Highway, Jackson, with Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Queens, New York.
