Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas - El PasoJennie Morales, age 93, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and family that spans four generations. Born on February 1, 1933, Jennie lived a life rich in purpose—one measured not in years, but in the countless lives she touched, the meals she lovingly shared, and the home she made a place of warmth and belonging for everyone who entered. She had a forgiving heart and always kept those close and distant in her thoughts and prayers.
Jennie was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Cruz Morales Sr., who preceded her in death, as did her cherished children Irma, Cruz Jr., Lalo, and Johnny; her dear mother, Ramona; her father, Victor; and her two brothers, Jesus and Estevan. Though grief marked her journey, Jennie carried it with quiet grace and unwavering faith, trusting always that she would one day be reunited with those she lost. That reunion has now come.
She is survived by her daughters Sally and Olga and her sons Raymond and Robert, along with 23 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren—a family tree so full and fruitful that it stands as the greatest testament to a life well lived.
Jennie was the heart of her family, the keeper of its stories, and the source of its strength. She was our Queen. Her absence will be felt in every gathering, every holiday table, and every quiet moment her family reaches for her and finds only memory—beautiful, warm, and forever near.
She was 93 years young, and she was loved.
