Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandma and friend passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family on Saturday February 26th 2022. Jennifer was born March 24th 1968 to Bona Jo Erickson-Richards and Stephen Richards in Brigham city Utah, she lived most her life in Davis County Utah.
Jennifer married the love of her life Thomas Alan Combs September 20th 1990, they had 3 wonderful children together. She is survived by her children- Kira Jolynn Richards (Ale), Mikhelle Afton Combs (Nick), Thomas Alan Combs Jr.(Sam), her father Stephen Richards, her stepmother Pamela Richards, granddaughter Kinley and grandson Jonathan. She is preceded in death by her mother Bona Jo Erickson-Richards her brother Sean Richards and nephew Christopher Richards.
She worked as a phlebotomist at several facilities throughout her career and truly found her passion in the medical field. Jennifer was always one to help and give advice. She loved being outdoors, gardening, hiking, Diet Coke, marshmallows and her family. She had a soft spot for all animals and would go out of her way to help any she saw in need. Simon, her scraggly Chihuahua Yorkie crossed the rainbow bridge in 2020 and was eagerly awaiting mom's arrival. Milo and Tigger are still with us as an ever present reminder of mom's love. Jennifer was an amazing cook, she loved sharing recipes, cooking tips and secrets with her kids and grandchildren. Jennifer had many struggles in her short life but tried to find a lesson in each of them and was more than willing to share her lessons with all who would listen.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and she'll live in our hearts forever.
