Jennifer Dunn

April 10, 2023 Jennifer Jaye Dunn, 50, of Odessa, Texas was called to heaven on the 10th of April 2023 following a brief illness. Jennifer was born in Odessa on the 5th of February 1973 to Jesse Lawrence Mendenhall, Jr., and Linda Clark. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1990. Jen worked in various sales positions and was currently working in the insurance industry. On the 13th of October 2012, she married her soulmate Jon David Dunn. Jen loved Jesus, was an amazing mom and an even better Yaya to her grandbabies. She loved to golf with her husband and friends at the Odessa Country Club and enjoyed trips to Mexico for golfing and beach time. Jen was a founding member of the Live Like Rylee Foundation and was especially passionate about her involvement with LLR. If you were blessed to be a part of Jen's life, you knew that she was a loyal and devoted friend. She was as passionate about her friendships as she was about her family. Jen leaves behind a loving family and a multitude of friends who will miss her tremendously and will cherish her memory forever. Jen is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph Ben Sears, Leona Sears, Linny Berry, John Berry, Jesse Lawrence Mendenhall, Sr; and her niece, Rylee Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Jon David Dunn of Odessa; son, Zachary Lovell and wife Kayleen of Honolulu, Hawaii, Kelsey Henderson and husband James of Dallas, Bailey Dunn of Odessa, Jaylee Dunn and boyfriend Edward Odom of Odessa; grandchildren, Xane Lovell and Emma Odom both of Odessa; parents, Jesse Laurence Mendenhall, Jr. wife Timmy of Dublin, TX, Linda Clark husband Lyman of Branson MO; siblings, Lisa Jordan, Lana "Micki" Yancey and husband Kevin of Odessa, Stephanie Mendenhall of DeLeon, TX, John Lance Mendenhall wife Katrina of Midland, John Craig Eicher wife Kristi of Odessa, Joshua Mendenhall and wife Brooke of Dublin, TX, Jacob Mendenhall and wife Drew of Burleson, TX, Jackson Mendenhall of Dublin, TX; loving in-laws, Donna and David Dunn of Odessa, TX; honorary sisters, Keri Dunn Taylor and husband Jason of Odessa, and Stephanie Maxwell and husband Kevin of Cleburne, TX; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of Jen's life will be held on Friday, the 14th of April 2023 at 11:00 A.M., at Crossroads Church with Young Adult Pastor Ja'Vaun Johnson officiating.
