Jennifer was born on November 27, 1987, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Edward Bernard Ellis and Karen Denise Brown.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Warren McWhorter and daughter, Lillian McWhorter and her mother, Karen Brown.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father.
Jennifer lived life with independence, humor, and heart. She enjoyed the simple pleasures - a good cup of flavored coffee, a funny joke, and time spent doing what she loved. Jennifer was an avid fan of horror movies, old westerns, MASH*, and classic cartoons. She could often be found curled up with a good mystery book or working on her latest craft project, especially making jewelry by hand.
She also loved to travel, exploring new places and creating memories along the way. Her trip from Boston to Montana held a special place in her heart.
Jennifer had a deep appreciation for nature and shared that love with her daughter, Lilly. She found joy in tending her flower gardens and took pride in canning tomatoes, pickles, jams, and jellies. Animals held a special place in her heart - from cats and dogs to the occasional horse she admired.
Music was always part of her world, whether it was old country favorites or hits from the '80s and '90s country and rock eras.
Jennifer's warm spirit, creativity, and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Thad Larson, Jake Lovelace, Andrew McWhorter, Ryan VonAhn, Casey Bulyea, Shawn Farris, and Barry Sharp.
