Jennifer Ann Hair, 51, of Lake Jackson was born on April 2, 1974 in Gainsville, Texas to the parentage of Gary Eugene and Teresa Ann Muzny. She passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 in Galveston, Texas surrounded by her loving family.
Jenni, as she was affectionately known, loved to laugh and being with her friends. She was always refinishing antiques or making wreaths. Jenni was very involved in arts and crafts. She was gainfully employed with State Farm Insurance in both Colorado Springs, Colorado and Freeport, Texas
She met and married her high school sweetheart, Kody Hair of Brazoria. They had 3 children; Payton Ray Muzny; Rylee Ann Hair and Joshua Allen Strickland. Her children were very precious to her.
Jenni will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was always there if someone needed her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Eugene Muzny of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her Paternal grandparents, Eugene and Doris Muzny of Gainesville, Texas; Maternal grandparents, Virgil Ray and Gertie McPeek of Denton, Texas; aunt, Terry Lynn Sylar of Gainsville, Texas
Left to cherish precious memories are her husband, Kody Hair of Brazoria; two sons, Payton Ray Muzny of Brazoria and Joshua Allen Strickland and wife, Crystal of Angleton; one daughter, Rylee Ann Hair of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, Lilly and Sofia Muzny of Lake Jackson; Chelslyn, Braiden and Virgil Strickland of Angleton; mother, Teresa Ann McPeek of Lake Jackson; brothers, Jeff Johnson of Decatur, TX and E. J. Cope of Yukon, Oklahoma; uncles, Steve McPeek and wife, Coet of Clinton, MS; Mike McPeek and wife, Sara of Decatur, Tx; aunts, Cindy Muzny Bell of Gainsville, Texas; cousins, Clay and Chris Sanker of Fort Worth, Marcie Walton of Arkansas and Alice and Susan McPeek of Fort Worth; mother-in-law, Sandra Clark of Freeport, as well as other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM at C T Baker and Sons Funeral Home, 634 S Columbia Drive, West Columbia, Texas 77486.
Visitation also be on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 Pm at the Funeral Home.
