Jennifer L. Hochstetler, 52, of Oakland City, Indiana, peacefully passed away with her family and friends at her side on November 14, 2025, at Louisville Hospice Care in Louisville, Kentucky. Jennifer was born on June 26, 1973, in Evansville, Indiana, to Harry Hochstetler and Sharon Hodgen.
Jenny loved spending time with her two daughters, Hannah and Heleana, and granddaughter Paisley. She enjoyed going fishing, doing home renovations, antiquing, and crocheting. She enjoyed the shenanigans she would have with her many friends that she kept close throughout the years. She had a passion for livening up the crowd whilst bartending but also had a soft and warming side tending as a caregiver for Veteran Affairs. Jenny was known to have a big heart and was a very loyal friend to anyone who was in need. She will be dearly missed by all that cared deeply for her.
She is survived by her daughters, Heleana Dersch, and Hannah Culbertson; her granddaughter, Paisley Culbertson; her sister, Liz Lashley; nephew, Kade Hochstetler; partner, Steve Lamar, and many other extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Janet Hochstetler; and her brother Ernest Hochstetler.
Services will be announced at a later date and time.
