Jennifer Marsh Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by The Springs Funeral Services - Platte on Jan. 30, 2026.
Jennifer Hope Marsh was born September 18, 1978 in Syracuse, NY and died age 47 on December 4, 2025 in Denver, CO. Jennifer was adopted at birth by John and Linda Marsh joining adopted sister Carrie and six years later, another sister Barbara. The family moved to Colorado in 1993 where Jennifer spent most of her adult life. She completed her GED and studied Medical Assistance at Intellitec in Colorado Springs. She worked as a waitress and restaurant manager for most of her adult life, endearing her customers with her outgoing personality.

As a child, Jennifer was a talented athlete, excelling in soccer for many years. She enjoyed traveling and remained pen pals with many of her Scottish cousins after her initial visit abroad. She particularly enjoyed science in school and would often entertain her family with stories of dissection at the dinner table! Jennifer was the loving mother of her two beautiful daughters, Ava Mae and Lyra Ann. She was a kind and generous friend who loved to take care of anyone in need. She was a caregiver for several elderly women who came to know her as a dear friend, not just their helper. She was a good cook and a creative artist working in mixed media, especially jewelry. She was an avid lover of nature and was happiest hiking amongst the trees. She loved to read, especially subjects concerning spirituality. Jennifer had a great laugh, and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters, parents, sisters, and seven living nephews and nieces. Sheis preceded in death by two nephews. Services will be held in the Spring.
