It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Reedy Nichols, who passed away on March 27, 2025, in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Born on April 7, 1976, in Richmond, Va., Jennifer was a bright light to all who knew her, with a personality that allowed her to walk into any room and make friends instantly.
Jennifer worked for the Center of Special Surgery in St. Petersburg, Fla., where she was known not only for her dedication but also for her warmth and kindness. She found great joy in the sunshine and the warm weather, often embracing the beauty of life with an open heart.
Jennifer was deeply involved in her community, particularly within the Women's Ministry at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, where she cherished her role and the relationships she built with fellow members.
Left to honor and cherish Jennifer's memory are her loving parents, Scott and Jane Bailey; her son, Jamie Nichols; her sister, Mary Patrick Bailey; her uncle, Allen Lynwood(Mac) Felts, Jr. (Becky); her aunts, Linda Scott (Andrew) and Cynthia Barrack (Allen); and many cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
The family will hold a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., Richmond, Va.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 8200 Woodman Road, Henrico, VA, at 10 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2025. A private interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jennifer's name to the Women's Ministry of St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, FL.
Jennifer's warmth, kindness, and joy will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

I am a middle school friend of Jennifer´s from Richmond VA, I considered her my best friend in Eighth grade. I remember many a night of sleepovers, trips to the mall, notes passed in class, dancing in my basement, and choreographing a cheer dance for our Cheerleading squad at St. Edward-Epiphany. Jennifer was always so funny, had the brightest smile it was contagious. Too many memories to recount here, but none of them are without Joy and smiles. My heart is so heavy hearing this news. I send love to Janey and Scott, who were like second parents to me in my middle school years with Jennifer. Love to her Sister MaryPatrick who Jennifer was so proud of. And tremendous Love to Jennifer´s son, Jamie, I have never met you but I pray God´s Loving arms are felt in your time of grief at the loss of your Mom.
May God´s presence around you ALL be felt deeply in these days.
