Jennifer Whidden Obituary
Mrs. Jennifer Louise Merrill Whidden, 52, of Seale, AL passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at her home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Whidden was born February 5, 1972 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Charles E. Merrill and Virginia C. Wafler. She worked at the fireworks outlet on highway 431 South for many years. Mrs. Whidden enjoyed crafting and was a long time member of the Seale Volunteer Fire Department.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, George “Buddy” Whidden, Jr.; three sons, Steven Whidden (Hayle) of Smiths Station, AL, Justin Wayne Whidden (Ashley) of Smiths Station, AL and Preston Lee Whidden (Amy) of Seale, AL; a sister, Amy Currie (Chris) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Charity, Sadie, Gavin, Brantley, Justin II, Paisley, Lela and Rayden; as well as other extended family and friends.
