Jennifer Elyse Willsey, 38, of Greenwood, passed away on July 25, 2025. She was born on December 23, 1986 in Wheeling, WV to Paul and Patti Bovard Gillette.
Jennifer is a passionate believer in Christ Jesus and His saving power over death. For Jennifer, the truth of the gospel was a conviction she lived out in every action of her life. Jennifer believes the little things mattered just as much as the big things in life. This was evident in how she turned every situation into a special occasion. Much like salt make food taste better, Jenni made life richer and full of zest. Pizza nights with her family weren't ordinary, but a night to be remembered as we all enjoyed her from scratch recipes. Birthdays and holidays became amplified as she often had a very specific and special vision for each one. One of Jennifer 's greatest passions was being a homeschooling mama. Often stating that motherhood was her ministry, Jenni would pour into her three young children, Gideon, Ariella, and Judah, every moment of every day. She believed every moment was an opportunity for fun and learning. Her husband was most blessed by her passion to be his best friend and wife. Always working together to make the most of life, Jenni and Blake were inseparable. Everything they did, they did together and as a team. She is dearly missed and beloved.
Survivors include her husband Blake, her children Gideon 8, Ariella 6, and Judah 2, her mother Patti, her father Paul, her sisters Megan and Sarah, her brother Matthew. Her brother's in law Drew and John and her nephews James, Cale, and Rowan and her nieces Anna, Gemma, and Tessa. Along with countless friends she made across the nation.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Annelyse at age 2 and her grandparents.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM at Grace Assembly of God Church, 6822 US 31 S, Whiteland, IN 46184, with the Celebration of Life at 1:30pm. She will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery 734 N Morgantown Rd,
Greenwood, IN 46142.
