Jennifer Noreen Starck Yantis, 30, of Smiths Station, AL stepped into the healing arms of Christ her Savior on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM (EST) on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at New Hope Revival Ministries, Smiths Station, AL with Brother Steven Shelley officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A private interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until the funeral hour at the church on Saturday.
Jennifer was born September 02, 1994 daughter of Kurt and Noreen Keegan Starck. She had a Master’s Degree in Education and was a Second Grade Teacher at West Smiths Station Elementary School for several years. Jennifer was also an active member of New Hope Revival Ministry where she enjoyed worshiping with her family and friends. Jennifer was not ashamed of her faith and worshiped freely and openly. She enjoyed watching butterflies and being in the outdoors. Jennifer was also an athlete, specifically swimming, where she excelled. She was passionate about anything she put her hand and heart to do.
We will remember her as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend. She never ran out of love for those around her and was quick to make a new friendship. While we do not understand the reasons for her leaving us so soon, we take comfort in knowing that God causes all things to work together for those who love Him.
Survivors include her husband, Josiah Yantis and their daughter, Charlotte Ruth Yantis both of Smiths Station, AL; parents, Kurt and Noreen Starck, Huntsville, AL; one sister, Jacqueline Starck; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Theresa and Robert Graves; father-in-law, James Yantis; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jessyca Gann (David), Austin Yantis, Robert Graves, Tiffany Sanes (Joshua), Rachel Anderson, Elizabeth Ellsworth (Zachary),Bethanie Klein (Jonathan), Joshua Yantis (Charity), David Yantis (Ashleigh), Stephen Yantis, Sarah Bickford (Thomas) and Aaron Graves; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
