Jenny P. Howard

Jenny Patricia Howard, 42, of Erie, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, after a five-month battle with glioblastoma.
She was born on June 2, 1983, in Warren, PA, the daughter of Kylie Howard and Laura Peters Merchant.
Jenny attended Warren Area High School and later received her GED. She was most recently employed at Jay's Auto in Edinboro, PA, where she worked as a clerk and notary.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to concerts, camping, crafting, and being outdoors. She is remembered for her bright spirit, unwavering kindness, and the deep appreciation she showed to others-qualities that were noticed by everyone involved in her care, from doctors and nurses to aides and hospital housekeepers.
Surviving are her fiancé and partner of thirteen years, Dustin Jefferson of Erie, PA; three sons: Britan Warner of Warren, PA, and Bentley Howard and Landon Howard, both of Chandlers Valley, PA; her mother and stepfather, Laura and Larry Merchant of Gerry, NY; her father, Kylie Howard of Warren, PA; four siblings: Joseph Howard of Philadelphia, PA; Joshua Howard and Jerrad Howard, both of Warren, PA; and Kristina (Seth) Fragale of Emporium, PA; as well as her paternal grandmother, Patricia Howard of Warren, PA.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Joseph Howard; her maternal grandfather, Richard Peters; her aunt, Kevin Johnson; and her maternal grandmother, Patricia Peters-McKee, who left a year prior and welcomed her home.
A celebration of Jenny's life will be held at a date and time to be announced.
Memorial contributions may be made to Allegheny Health Network's Cancer Institute in honor of the care and compassion they extended to Jenny during her battle.
