Jerald “Lil 50” Douglas King, 50, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away February 1, 2026, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri surrounded by loved ones.

Jerald was born on April 14, 1975, in Middleton, Tennessee to Jerry King and Sachiko (Stoudmire) Ward. He worked for many years as a laborer for HMPDME services. Along with spending time with family and friends, Jerald enjoyed fishing and loved cheering on his favorite college football team, Alabama Crimson Tide. His biggest pride and joy were his grandchildren.
Jerald was survived by his loving Fiancé, Teresa McCloud of Odessa, MO; his father, Jerry King; three step children, Anthony (Whitney) Torres of Warrensburg, MO, Shanice McCloud of Warrensburg, MO, and Maretta McCloud of Odessa, MO; eight step grandchildren, Alana, Keeley, Khalani, Piper, Bruno, Ronan, Malikai, and Selena; two sisters, Nickol King of Birmingham, AL and Jeri King of Birmingham, AL; a niece, Ajah and Jasmine, both of Birmingham, AL, two nephews, Trevon and Javon both of Birmingham, AL; one great nephew, Kenyan, Jr. “KJ”; one great niece, Phalynn, three best friends, Desi Fomby, Dee Dee Waters, and Gerald Johnson; and many other relatives, and friends.
Jerald was preceded by his mother.
