JERALDINE BRYAN WALKER, age 86, passed away peacefully at home on December 25, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born in Buffalo, TX on September 2, 1939 to Joe Ray Bryan and Sammie Louise Smith, Jeraldine was the eldest of 2 girls. She graduated from South Park High School in 1957, where she met her beloved husband Miller B. Walker Jr. and they married in 1958. She attended business school gaining skills in typing, shorthand, and bookkeeping. After the birth of her two sons, Miller III and Jason, she worked as a secretary for several years before joining Shefman Investments, Inc. At the encouragement of Mr. Shefman, she obtained her real estate broker's license and was involved in commercial real estate for 50 years.

Jeraldine and Miller Jr shared a love for Formula 1 racing, adopting shelter dogs, and restoring Studebaker Avanti cars. Jeraldine was actively involved in the Studebaker Drivers Club of Houston for many years.

Jeraldine is survived by her sons, Miller B. Walker III and wife Maggie, Jason B. Walker, and daughter in law Tonya Peavy Walker; grandchildren, Kendra Hallmark and husband John, Miller B. Walker IV, and Matthew Walker; and great grandchildren, Samantha and husband Dalton, Sarina, and John Jr. She is also survived by her cherished sister, Madolyn Thaxton-Hansen, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Miller Jr., her parents, her niece Mellissa Anne Thaxton, and her nephew Thomas James Thaxton Jr, and her dear cousin Wanda Baker Bush.

Jeraldine was the picture of beauty, grace, and wisdom. Immovable in her convictions, her friends and family knew that this same stubborn resolve was also the strength she used to hold on to them.

In remembrance of Jeraldine's life, the family suggests that memorials be made to Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes at breakthrought1d.org to support research for Type 1 Diabetes, or to any other charity near to your heart.
